Continuum Biomechanics Lab

130 WERC

The Continuum Biomecanics laboratory , led by Dr. Jay Humphrey, focuses on the development of computational and theoretical tools to perform and interpret multiaxial experiments on a wide variety of soft tissues, including heart, vascular, and eye. Of particular interest is quantification of the growth and remodeling of tissues in response to altered mechanical loads, disease, injury, and thermal treatment.
